Submit a Review or Minireview Proposal

Reviews (max. 100,000 characters with spaces) deal with topics of high current interest in any area of chemistry. Rather than an assembly of detailed information, a critically selected treatment of the material is desired; unsolved problems and possible developments should also be discussed. Minireviews (max. 40,000 characters with spaces) should present current topics in a concise style. Minireviews offer the flexibility to treat topics at a time when a full Review would still be premature or inappropriate. Their general format is the same as that for full Reviews (see the notice to authors for Angewandte Chemie).

Note that the manuscript will be subject to the usual rigorous peer review process and that acceptance of a proposal does not guarantee final publication.

Pro tip: To increase discoverability, do not start the title with "Recent Advances...", "Current Trends..." etc. but get right to the point, eg. "Organic Materials for Imaging and Sensing".
