A one-dimensional representation of an initially damaged conductor cable is subject to mechanical tension, heat exchange with the environment, and an electric current, which combined lead to thermal failure from overheating. The deterministic solution of the physical system through the finite element method enters the PCM stochastic solver as a black box, which generates physics-based predictions of the probability of failure

The EMS ensures system stability and optimizes the state of charge of energy storage systems.
The impact of ECAP processing parameters on mechanical properties and corrosion behavior of AA7075 were discussed using experimental, ML, and RS methodologies. It was found that ECAP resulted in notable improvement in both mechanical and corrosion behavior for AA7075, which can be attributed to the significant grain refinement after processing.
An autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) communicates with a submarine that is mounted M-ary of LEDs. It is considered that AUV transmits optical signals through mixed water layers within strong turbulence channel conditions while maintaining pointing error. The developed system model involves an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) communicating with a submarine equipped with an M-ary LED array.
This article conducts bending tests on glass bridge decks under wheel loads to study the mechanical properties of glass panel structures applied to automotive bridge decks. The experiment applies a concentrated load to the center of the plate, with displacement as the control condition for loading. This process repeats until all layers of glass plates are completely destroyed. Obtaining the out of plane deflection displacement field of laminated glass panels under load using three-dimensional DIC method. The results indicate that the load–displacement relationship of laminated glass panels exhibits a certain degree of nonlinearity. The load–displacement variation of a two-layer glass structure is significantly closer to linear compared to a three-layer glass structure. The direction of the maximum principal stress almost coincides with the diagonal of the glass plate and only shows significant fluctuations under small loads. The load–stress relationship exhibits certain nonlinear characteristics. By conducting experimental research on three-layer laminated glass panels subjected to local lateral loads, the static mechanical response law of multilayer laminated glass bridge decks under wheel pressure loads was explored. The experimental results can provide reference for engineering practice.
This review explores material flow in friction stir welding (FSW), emphasizing its critical role in determining weld quality and structural integrity. It discusses methodologies for studying material flow, its dynamics, defect formation, and advancements in Bobbin Tool and Stationary Shoulder FSW, guiding future research and optimization efforts.
This study explores the role of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in enhancing sustainable project delivery through circular economy principles. It is obvious that BIM has a significant positive impact on sustainable project methods, with circular economy principles amplifying this effect, explaining 50% of the indirect influence.
The research focus of this paper is to evaluate the ability of college counselors by using the competency model. A questionnaire was designed to survey and test the questionnaires. A competency model of college counselors was established and applied to the ability training of counselors. The evaluation results of counselors' ability before and after the training were compared. The research results showed that the counselor ability training oriented by the model can effectively improve the competency traits of counselors and can be applied to the management of college counselors.
Study on harmonic suppression method of permanent magnet synchronous motor in high voltage wire inspection robot. The harmonic suppression of permanent magnet synchronous motor will determine the completion of inspection work. Therefore, from the point of view of control algorithm, this article analyzes the speed, time, and frequency domain signals of the motor driven by Space Vector Modulation DTC (SVM-DTC) method.
This work proposes a power management controller for multi-core DSP architectures, specifically designed for FT-xDSP. The primary contributions include a clamp request control unit to ensure system stability during asynchronous resets, and a configurable state transition counter that optimizes clock transitions. The controller integrates power and clock gating, yielding a 95.9% reduction in core power consumption in low-power states, which enhances both energy efficiency and chip stability. This work demonstrates a significant improvement in power management for high-performance multi-core DSPs.
This study investigates the cooling behavior of super duplex stainless steel bars using water and air impinging jet quenching technique (IJQT) of various flow rates. The findings highlight the critical role of cooling rate in controlling sigma-phase formation and impact toughness, demonstrating the effectiveness of the IJQT in industrial applications.
