Investigating the relationships between emotional experiences and behavioral responses amid the Covid-19 pandemic: A cross-sectional survey
- Pages: 25-35
- First Published: 06 September 2022

This research unveils the distinct relationships between Chinese public's discrete negative emotions (anxiety, anger, and sadness) elicited by the Covid-19 pandemic and their behavioral reactions (seeking information, sharing information, preventive health behavior, and stockpiling) toward the pandemic. Unveiling these specific emotion–behavior relationships can help to identify the vulnerable individuals who tend to adopt maladaptive coping behaviors and encourage their adoption of effective coping behaviors, and help to design effective intervention programs.
Investigation of pelvic symmetry: A systematic analysis using computer aided design software
- Pages: 36-44
- First Published: 08 November 2022

This investigation using computer aided design software avoided some limitations of previous studies and filled an important research gap in the literature of pelvic symmetry. The bilateral hemi-pelvises showed a high degree of symmetry. It would be feasible and effective to apply the concept of pelvic symmetry to create fully patient-specific and custom-made pelvic implants by using contralateral pelvic models for the treatment of fracture and bony destruction.
Socioeconomic and epidemiological milieu of maternal death due to eclampsia in West Bengal, India: A mixed methods study
- Pages: 45-59
- First Published: 21 December 2022

Hemorrhage estimated to be responsible for more than 25% of all maternal deaths and accounted as a major leading cause of maternal deaths in India and elsewhere. Studies from our selected area (West Bengal) show an anomaly finding in contrast to the Indian and global scenario which manifest that eclampsia or hypertensive disorders of pregnancy is the single most frequent cause of maternal deaths. The study aims to investigate the predictors for eclamptic maternal deaths in West Bengal and to compare it with non-eclamptic maternal deaths.

CardioLabelNet: An uncertainty estimation using fuzzy for abnormalities detection in ECG
- Pages: 60-74
- First Published: 31 January 2023

-
Performs image segmentation and classification.
-
Initially, image segmentation of ECG signal is performed with the estimation of local and global entropy of signal using fuzzy membership function.
-
In the next step, classification is performed for the classification of the normal and abnormal waveform in the ECG.
