Front Cover: iTRAQ-Based Proteomic Analysis Reveals Protein Profile in Plasma from Children with Autism Volume 12 Issue 3, 2018

Twenty five differentially expressed proteins identified between the autistic and healthy subjects might serve as potential biomarkers for autism. These are enriched in an interaction network as the stars in the sky, providing a hope for children for early diagnosis of autism in the future. This is reported by Liming Shen, Kaoyuan Zhang, Chengyun Feng, Youjiao Chen, Shuiming Li, Javed Iqbal, Liping Liao, Yuxi Zhao, and Jian Zhai, article number 1700085.

Back Cover: Label-Free Quantitative Proteomic Screening of Candidate Plasma Biomarkers for the Prognosis of Breast Cancer with Different Lymph Node Statuses Volume 12 Issue 3, 2018

Patients with lymph node involvement have less favorable prognosis and higher risk of recurrence. A label-free quantitative proteomic strategy is applied to construct plasma proteomes of ten patients with different lymph node statuses. The present dataset provides a list of candidate biomarkers that can be used for early diagnosis and prognosis of breast cancer with lymph node metastasis. This is reported by Ling Chen, Weibo Zhao, Jing He, Liqi Li, Dong Meng, Dongyan Cai, Jinjin Yu, Daozhen Chen, Yibo Wu and Tao Zhou, article number 1700117.
