Are you passionate about the intersection of aging and cancer research? Do you have a keen eye for scientific detail and a commitment to advancing knowledge in these fields? The journal Aging and Cancer Aging and Cancer - Wiley Online Library is seeking dedicated and dynamic individuals to join our editorial team as an Associate Editor, which shall start no later than September 1st, 2025 for 3 years.

About the Journal

Aging AND Cancer focuses on aging as a central component of cancer evolution and progression. We're proud to be an open access cancer journal sharing knowledge with biomedical researchers around the globe.

Our content spans basic, translational, and clinical findings, investigating the biology of and/or mechanisms via which age-associated deterioration of the individual, from macromolecules to tissues and organs - promotes the onset, progression and relapse of cancer, and impacts treatment options and outcomes.

Responsibilities of the Associate Editor

  • Arrange for and supervise the independent peer review of contributions by suitably qualified reviewers
  • Communicate a recommended action for assigned manuscripts to the Editor-in-Chief on a timely basis
  • Adhere to generally accepted publication ethics and research integrity best practices
  • Make best efforts to ensure the currency and accuracy of the contents of each contribution to the Journal
  • Promote the journal if possible and commission a couple of submissions each year
