Recruitment Notice on Scientific Editor for Chinese Journal of Chemistry

Chinese Journal of Chemistry (Editor-in-Chief: Professor Shengming Ma) is published jointly by Chinese Chemical Society, Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (Chinese Academy of Sciences), and Wiley-VCH. Since 2018, this journal has been reconstructed aiming to become a first-class journal publishing high-quality articles in chemistry with international impact. The immediate impact factor of this journal reached 5.58 according to the updated data from Web of Science as of March 31, 2021. We are currently recruiting a full-time scientific editor to join the editorial team of Chinese Journal of Chemistry. Position: Scientific Editor, Chinese Journal of Chemistry

 

Working Location: Shanghai, China

 

Candidates should have strong cooperation spirit, rigorous style of study, and excellent organizational capability.

 

Responsibilities and Preferred Qualifications

(1) Organize topics, pre-review new submissions, finalize/typeset/proof accepted manuscripts;

(2) Communicate with authors/readers/editorial board members in English and Chinese (written, verbal, and listening);

(3) Promote Chinese Journal of Chemistry by WeChat/Email/conferences;

(4) Candidates should have the expertise with a Ph.D. in chemistry; rich research background would be a plus.

(5) Candidates should be willing to travel nationally or internationally.

 

Salary

250,000-400,000 RMB annual salary.
