Preparation of CoNi-LDH-Modified Polypropylene-Based Carbon Fiber Membranes for Flexible Supercapacitors

CoNi-LDH-modified carbon fiber membrane flexible electrodes with outstanding bending resistance were successfully fabricated using masked polypropylene nonwoven fabrics. The electrodes exhibit a remarkable specific capacitance of 580 F g−1 and retain 99% of their performance after 7000 cycles. This study advances the development of high-performance, cost-effective flexible supercapacitors.

Preparation, Characterization, and In Vitro Anti-Inflammatory Activity of Polyvinyl Alcohol-Based Hydrogels Containing Astragalus Polysaccharide for Cartilage Repair

The PCA composite hydrogels, formulated with 15 wt% polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), 1.5 wt% chitosan (CS), and 1 wt% agarose (AG), exhibited a porous structure, superior mechanical properties, low swelling, excellent blood compatibility, and nontoxicity to cells, making them suitable for cartilage repair applications. Moreover, when these hydrogels were loaded with astragalus polysaccharide (APS), they exhibited significant anti-inflammatory effects.

Controllable Fabrication of MnCo2O4
@Polypyrrole@MXene Ternary Composites for Electromagnetic Wave Absorption

MnCo2O4@PPy@MXene (MPM) composites are prepared for high-performance electromagnetic wave absorption, in which MPM-1 exhibits the RLmin of −62.99 dB (1.21 mm) and the EAB is 3.94 GHz (1.28 mm).

Development of UV-Protective Hemp-Based Eco-Friendly Textiles

The aim of the study was to develop alternative environmentally friendly knitted fabric with improved UV protection for use in seasonal children's outerwear. Hemp and Refibra-based yarns are used. Chemical nature of the fibers incorporated into the structures has an effect on UPF performance. The pique fabrics with the highest number of miss stitches and the structures from the yarn feeding scheme −1 is higher.

Environmental Friendly Polymer Based Recycled Nitrile Gloves Incorporated With Poly(Lactic Acid)/Graphene Nanoplatelets Binary Blends

Environmental Friendly Polymer Based Recycled Nitrile Gloves Incorporated With Poly(Lactic Acid)/Graphene Nanoplatelets Binary Blends

In this study, we recycled rNBR with PLA through melting blending, followed by loading with GNP. This figure illustrates the scheme and comparison of the characteristics and properties of composites, as demonstrated from various aspects of the analysis results.
