Knowledge, skills and confidence of Nepalese doctors in primary trauma care: A cross-sectional study
- First Published: 23 April 2025

This study assessed the knowledge, skills and confidence of Nepalese doctors in primary trauma care (PTC) through a questionnaire, comparing those who had received PTC training to those who had not. Although there was no significant difference in knowledge scores between the two groups, doctors who had received PTC training demonstrated significantly higher skills and confidence in trauma management. The findings suggest that PTC training improves clinical skills and confidence, underscoring the need for broader implementation in resource-limited settings.
