A literature reviewsummarizing evidence from studies examining the consistency and strengthof the relationship between serum cholesterol parameters and incidence ofhormonally driven cancer was conducted. The endpoint of interest wasincident prostate, ovary, breast, endometrium, and uterine cancers. Intotal, 2372 reports were identified and screened; 41 studies were includedin the review. Overall, our results do not provide evidence for a clearassociation between cholesterol and different types of incident, hormonallydriven reproductive cancers.
