Editorial Board

The current governance of the Angewandte Chemie journals was established in 2021. For details, see the editorials to introduce the Advisory Editors and the new IAB members or the press release that summarizes them.

Scientific Advisory Committee

Advisory Editors together constitute the Scientific Advisory Committee. They form the closest connection between the scientific community and the Angewandte Chemie journals, and they help shape their scientific profile. The Advisory Editors are active scientists (learn more about their research) and will closely interact with the in-house editorial team. The Advisory Editors are involved in difficult decisions and appeals, and they provide direct scientific insight into ethical cases. For Angewandte Chemie Novit , the Advisory Editors are directly involved in the manuscript selection process.

International Advisory Board

The members of the International Advisory Board (IAB) are an important point of contact between the editorial team and the scientific community. As such, they represent the global and diverse nature of the Angewandte Chemie journals' current and future author- and readership. They support the editorial team in ensuring that the journal continue to publish excellent science across the whole breadth of chemistry while developing in line with the needs of the chemistry community around the world.
