Thioorthoester Polymers as Sulfur-Rich Materials in Metal Scavengers and Battery Cathodes Issue 1, 2025

A facile method for the preparation of bulk quantities of networked thioorthoester polymers is reported. The produced materials combine exceptionally high sulfur content with surface porosity and therefore exhibit excellent performance as scavengers for precious metals such as Pd and promising characteristics as organic battery cathodes.
