Emerging Editors Program: improve the impact of aging sciences globally

 
You are invited to join Aging Medicine’s Emerging Editors Program. This exciting opportunity will allow you to impact the field of aging sciences around the world.

As an Emerging Editor, you will benefit from:

Your responsibilities include:

  • Peer Review: You will be required to review a minimum of two manuscripts per year.
  • Quality Assurance and Publication: You will be responsible for the scientific quality of the manuscripts, handling them from initial assessment to final decision, including revisions of manuscripts.
  • Your own research: You will contribute at least one manuscript to Aging Medicine.
  • Publicity: You will be asked to actively encourage submissions and promote Aging Medicine within research community.
  • Opportunities: You will actively provide support for the development of Aging Medicine.

 

Requirements:

  • You will need a Ph.D. degree with research background in aging medicine.
  • International vision, overseas study or visit-scholar experience is preferred.
  • As first or corresponding author, have published a minimum of 2 research papers in English language within peer-reviewed journals with an Impact Factor over 3.
  • Be willing to handle manuscripts with an objective and fair attitude, with the ability to complete the task rigorously based on agreed schedules.
  • Have experience reviewing manuscripts for other English language journals.
  • At the end of the term, we will evaluate the review opinions and the quality of the manuscripts submitted during the term.
