After obtaining her Masters (2012), she joined the group of Wolfgang Grünert at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum (Germany), during which she investigated hierarchical zeolites and ship-in-bottle catalysts. She joined Wiley-VCH in 2017.

Before that, she obtained a MSc from Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences and a BEng from Beijing Jiaotong University. She joined Wiley as a journal publishing manager and peer-review editor in 2020. She is based in Wiley’s Beijing office.
