Article Publication Charges (APCs)
Nutrition Bulletin offers authors the option to publish their articles Open Access: immediately free to read, download, and share.
If the Open Access option is selected, submissions will be subject to an APC if accepted and published in the journal: $3,400 USD / £2,270 GBP / €2,850 EUR
Society Members: 15% discount
If the Corresponding Author’s institution, funder, or society has a Wiley Open Access Account (WOAA), all or part of the APC might be covered. Eligibility is based on the article’s acceptance date and the organization having an active account/partnership arrangement when the order is placed.
Taxes on Publication Charges
The prices quoted do not include any value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), or other sales taxes. Tax may be charged in addition to the price shown where required by law. The amount of tax charged will be calculated at the point of sale and identified separately.
If you have a VAT, GST, or other sales tax identification number, you should provide this when requested.
If you or the party responsible for payment are tax exempt, instructions will be provided during the payment process regarding where and when to send the tax exemption certificate or other relevant documentation.
Open Access Licensing and Copyright
Nutrition Bulletin articles that publish Open Access are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License. Most authors can choose between CC BY, CC BY-NC, and CC BY-NC-ND Creative Commons Licenses, though certain funders mandate a particular type of CC license is used.
If you have requested WOAA funding for the APC and it is denied by your institution/funder/society, you will be required to sign a license for a subscription article before your article is published.
