A Message from our New Editorial Team

We are delighted to take on the Editorship of JCMS: Journal of Common Market Studies from July 2022. We are committed to upholding the high standards of the JCMS as the leading journal in European Studies and Comparative Regionalism, and look forward to working with established and emerging scholars across the many disciplines in which JCMS has always published the highest quality of work.

We are equally committed to continue to embed diversity and inclusion in academic publishing, to forge dialogue between academics and practitioners and underline the continued importance of understanding contemporary Europe from an interdisciplinary perspective.

JCMS launches policy commentaries

JCMS is launching a new article type to promote engagement with policy practitioners. Policy commentaries are shorter manuscripts, between 2000 and 3000 words, that link original research findings to current policy debates within the journal’s remit. They can include policy recommendations where relevant. We are especially keen on contributions that involve the co-production of knowledge between academics and practitioners.
