Abstract

A 63-year-old woman presented with pain in the right hypochondrium. Contrast enhanced MRI scan of the abdomen revealed a large relatively well defined heterogeneously enhancing space occupying lesion with multiple smaller nodules, suggestive of hemangioendothelioma or isolated metastasis. Liver cytology was difficult but the final diagnosis was made after clinico-pathological correlation.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST

None.
