Deep Underground Science and Engineering
Recruitment of Early Career Editorial Board

With the rapid economic and social development, shallow resources are increasingly scarce worldwide, and resource mining is bound to much deeper underground spaces. Deep underground engineering is faced with extreme conditions such as high ground stress, high ground temperature, high pore pressure, and strong disturbance. Earth science, environmental science, and engineering science issues in exploitation of deep resources, development of deep energy and utilization of deep space have become important research directions for future scientific and technological development globally. Specifically, these issues involve key frontier research fields of related disciplines and their cross integrations.

As a high-starting-point international journal, DUSE aims to build a world-leading mainstream academic exchange platform focusing on cutting-edge research of deep underground science and engineering, and to become a world-class scientific and technological journal. It is committed to laying the foundation for creating a ‘deep underground science and engineering’ alliance and leading the research of deep underground science and engineering’. It is expected to become a strategic frontier for publishing important research in the field. The scope of publication includes: research and review papers reporting innovative and forward-looking achievements and important theoretical breakthroughs in fundamental research, innovative technology development, major engineering construction, and special environmental effects in the field of deep underground science and engineering.

In order to speed up the internationalization of DUSE and prepare sufficient manpower reserve for the editorial board, the editorial office of DUSE intends to set up a Early Career Editorial Board (ECEB), and now is open to recruit members of the ECEB from the world.

Welcome all aspiring scholars to join the Early Career Editorial Board of DUSE and contribute to the high-quality development of our journal of DUSE!
