About CDTM

Chronic Diseases and Translational Medicine (CDTM) is an internationally recognized journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research on chronic diseases, with a focus on translational medicine.

The journal is indexed in leading academic databases (PubMed, Scopus, DOAJ, Embase, CAS) and has established a significant impact in the global medical research community. CDTM is jointly published by the Chinese Medical Association Publishing House (CMAPH) and Wiley, further enhancing its academic influence and global reach.

To further enhance our international reach and editorial quality, we are recruiting four distinguished scholars as Associate Editors in the following fields:

  • Oncology
  • Respiratory Diseases
  • Cardiovascular Diseases
  • Endocrine and Metabolic Diseases

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Scholars with significant influence in their respective fields, affiliated with prestigious overseas institutions or research organizations, and possessing a global perspective.
  2. A strong research background and a record of scholarly publications, with an H-index of 40 or above.
  3. Familiarity with the development and operational processes of high-impact medical journals. Prior editorial experience is preferred.
  4. Commitment and enthusiasm for supporting the journal's growth and expanding its international influence.
  5. Proficiency in English or Chinese.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the initial review of manuscripts in the respective field (usually no more than 25 manuscripts per year), identify suitable reviewers for peer review, handle revisions, and provide a preliminary decision to the editorial board. Communicate regularly with the editorial office regarding article selection.
  2. Invite at least five high-impact manuscripts per year from leading experts in the field.
  3. Provide insights into emerging research trends and suggest suitable topics for publication.
  4. Promote CDTM at academic conferences and professional events.
