Richard J. Smith
Richard J. Smith studied chemistry at the Universität Zürich (Switzerland) where he received his doctoral degree in organic chemistry in 2003. In 2002, he joined Wiley-VHCA, Switzerland, as an Editorial Assistant. He leads the Swiss office of Wiley as an Executive Editor. He is responsible for the publication of Helvetica Chimica Acta. From 2022 - 2023 he joined Chemistry—A European Journal as a Senior Associate Editor. Since November 2023 he took over the new roles of Managing Editor of The Chemical Record and Editor-in-Chief for Biopolymers and Peptide Science.

Hao Wei
Hao Wei obtained a BA in Natural Sciences at University of Cambridge (UK) and stayed to complete a PhD in the Department of Pharmacology, studying platelets and cardiovascular biology. He then moved to Fudan University (China) as a research associate studying B cells and immunology, before joining Wiley in 2022. Hao is based in Shanghai.
