Aims and Scope

Business and Society Review publishes articles that address a wide range of ethical and social issues concerning the relationships between business, society, the environment, and the public good. Articles in the Review present original theoretical and empirical research that contribute directly to the business and society field.

The trans-disciplinary approach of the journal is intended to encourage contributors to fully explore the origins, implications, and possible resolution of the immense variety of issues surrounding the value dimensions of business in the contemporary world, incorporating insights from the social sciences, humanities, and the natural sciences.  The Review seeks integrative and normative understandings of the roles of businesses and other institutions in society to initiate and generate public good.  Its central focus is on scholarship that is concerned with building healthy societies supportive of all people and the environment.  

The journal accepts conceptual and empirical submissions, including quantitative and qualitative research methods, as well as non-traditional, inductive types of research.
