About Timely Submission

Please note that even if the paper is submitted for a Special Issue, authors will experience no delay to the review process, or to the publication of their paper. Peer review will commence after submission and once the paper is accepted, it will be published online to Early View (including a DOI so that it can be cited). The only difference to papers published in a regular issue is that all papers in the Special Issue will be compiled in one issue once all accepted papers have been published to EarlyView. Authors are encouraged to submit their paper for the Special Issue as soon as possible, rather than wait until closer to the submission deadline.
