The scope of Environmental Toxicology includes, the following areas, Environmental Pollutants, Toxicant Behavior and Environmental Chemistry, Ecotoxicology, Aquatic Toxicology and Ecosystem Health, Mechanisms of Toxicity, Emerging Contaminants and Challenges, Risk Assessment and Management, Pollution Mitigation and Remediation, Human Health and the Environmental Interface. Submissions missing a clear toxicological connection to evaluate the impacts of environmental contaminants on ecosystems or populations are beyond the scope of this journal.
