Mikroporös: Mithilfe chiraler Metallkomplexe als Template wurden unter Solvothermalbedingungen zwei Germanate Ni@Ge14O24(OH)3⋅2 Ni(L)3 (L=Ethylendiamin, 1,2-Diaminopropan) erhalten. Die chiralen Ni@Ge14O24(OH)3-Cluster haben einen bisher unbekannten trigonal-bipyramidalen Ni@Ge5-Kern mit Ni-Ge-Bindungen und sind untereinander zu einem dreidimensionalen Germanat-Netzwerk mit Kanälen aus 24-gliedrigen Ringen verknüpft (siehe Bild).
