Uran-Cobalt-Bindung: Reduktion von [U(TsXy)(Cl)(thf)] [TsXy=HC(SiMe2NAr)3; Ar=3,5-Me2C6H3] mit KC8 in Toluol lieferte den Aren-verbrückten Diurankomplex 1, während in aliphatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen eine C-N-Aktivierung unter Bildung eines Imidoarylkomplexes stattfand, der ungewöhnliche ferromagnetische Wechselwirkungen zwischen den Uranzentren zeigt. Der präparative Nutzen von 1 wurde in der ersten Synthese eines U-Co-Komplexes, [U(TsXy)Co(CO)3(PPh3)] (2), gezeigt.
