Abstract

In this work, we prepared polynorbornene dicarboximide (PND)/amine functionalized graphene (AFG) hybrids in N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAc). The AFG was synthesized by modifying graphene oxides (GO) with amine groups. The AFG sheets were well-dispersed in DMAc and randomly distributed throughout the PND matrix in the hybrid films, which enhanced the mechanical and oxygen barrier properties of the PND/AFG hybrid films. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
