Abstract

An efficient and facile method for synthesis of 2-arylpyrroles through Rh(III)-catalyzed direct CH arylation with pyrrole derivatives and aryl boronic acids has been developed. This reaction could proceed under mild reaction conditions and afford a series of 2-arylated products in good to excellent yields. The gram-scale experiment has been conducted to demonstrate the synthetic potential of this methodology.
