- 13Crystallographic data for C28H34RuZr (5): monoclinic C2/c, a=19.0368(4), b=9.5493(4), c=15.1497(4) Å, β=124.306(2)°, V=2274.9(1) Å3, Z=4, μ=1.135 mm−1, ρcalcd=1.643 Mg m−3, 150(1) K, Nonius Kappa-CCD diffractometer using graphite-monochromated MoKα radiation (λ=0.71073 Å), pale yellow crystal (0.30×0.22×0.16 mm3). Of 9615 reflections collected (5.1≤2θ≤55.0°), 2617 were independent (Rint=0.0296), and 2279 were observed with Fo≥4σ(Fo). Solution and refinement with SHELXTL-PC v6.12, non-hydrogen atoms were refined with anisotropic parameters, hydrogen atoms were refined on calculated positions using a riding model, R1=0.0256, wR2=0.0628, (R1=∑(Fo−Fc)/∑Fo observed data, wR2={∑[w(F
−F
)2]/∑[w(F
)2]}1/2 for all data), GOF=1.102, Δρmax=0.896 e Å−3. Crystallographic data for C28H30RuSn (6): monoclinic P21/c, a=17.8377(4), b=12.4501(3), c=31.9136(7) Å, β=93.826(1)°, V=7071.6(3) Å3, Z=12, μ=1.712 mm−1, ρcalcd=1.652 Mg m−3, 150(1) K, Nonius Kappa-CCD diffractometer using graphite-monochromated MoKα radiation (λ=0.71073 Å), pale yellow crystal (0.26×0.26×0.03 mm3). Of 36 931 reflections collected (5.1≤2θ≤55.0°) 16 057 were independent Rint=0.0657, and 10 129 were observed with Fo≥4σ(Fo). Solution and refinement as for 5, R1=0.0557, wR2=0.1296, (R1=∑(Fo−Fc)/∑Fo observed data, wR2={∑[w(F
−F
)2]/∑[w(F
)2]}1/2 for all data), GOF=1.015, Δρmax=1.47 e Å−3. CCDC-231 377 (6) and -231 378 (5) contain the supplementary crystallographic data for this paper. - 16Although the 1H NMR spectrum of the crude reaction mixture showed the formation of 6 in approximately 40 % yield, the purification of the compound was difficult owing to the similar solubilities of 6 and the by-products.
