Sehen um zu glauben: Die optische chirale Erkennung von (R)- und (S)-Binap gelang mithilfe des enantioselektiven Kollabierens von Metallogelen, die mit neuartigen Gelatoren aus Platin und Pinzettenliganden mit aromatischem, Linker- und Steroidteil hergestellt wurden. Van-der-Waals-Wechselwirkungen, π-Stapelung und Metall-Metall-Bindung führen zur Aggregation und chiralen Erkennung.
