The authors would like to clarify the following sentence in the Results and Discussion section of their Research Article: “While monomeric structures are extremely rare in organosodium chemistry, a few examples in the literature have revealed the ability of Me6TREN to favour this type of structural motifs. This sentence might suggest that no monomeric organosodium structures are known beyond those reported in references [30–32] of the original article. However, the cited references refer only to those monomeric organosodium structures that are structurally most similar to compound 1 b, featuring Me6TREN or TMEDA as donor ligands and containing a well-defined Na−C bond. Other examples of more structurally remote monomeric sodium complexes are known in which the cation and carbanion are charge-separated.1, 2
