Overview

The International Studies of Economics (ISE) is a general interest journal in economics published by Wiley on behalf of the School of Economics at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. It was previously published by Higher Education Press under the title Frontiers of Economics in China, which was ranked as one of “The Highest International Impact Academic Journals of China” in 2016, 2019, 2020 and 2021. The journal has been published by Wiley under the current title since 2022.

Recognizing that lengthy review process is a common problem plaguing economics journals, the editors of this journal make a concerted effort to reduce lag times while also maintaining a rigorous and fair review process. In the past five years, the average turn-around time from submission to first decision was 55 days.
