Aims and Scope

The Journal of Andrology, the official Journal of the American Society of Andrology, has published significant new findings of basic and clinical research on human and animal male reproductive tracts. Of special interest in the Journal are hormonal regulation of spermatogenesis, gene expression in accessory sex organs and external genitalia, feedback regulation of gonadotropins, sperm capacitation, and anatomical studies of the reproductive tract, non-cancer prostate diseases, and physiology of penile erectile tissue. Announcements of professional meetings, postgraduate courses, symposia and other events of interest to andrologists have also been published. Minireviews, Letters to the Editor and rapid communications also feature.
