Overview

Aims and Scope

The Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology (JMIRO) is an international journal of scientific excellence in radiology and radiation oncology. It is the official journal of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.

Established in 1957 as Australasian Radiology, JMIRO promotes practice and research. We publish cutting edge original articles, case studies and commissioned reviews on all aspects of radiology and radiation oncology, including interventional radiology and interventional neuroradiology. Our Editors welcome and support early, mid and senior career researchers, and judge manuscripts on the basis of their scientific contribution. All articles are peer reviewed.

JMIRO attracts submissions from around the world, a reflection of its international appeal, reputation, and continued encouragement of original data, ideas and interpretation. See our Author Guidelines to learn more.
