Overview
Aims and Scope
Congenital Anomalies is the official English language journal of the Japanese Teratology Society, and publishes interdisciplinary research dealing with birth defect and pregnancy loss, reproductive disabilities and prevention of abnormal development from all over the world.
Although contributions by members of the teratology societies affiliated with The International Federation of Teratology Societies are given priority, contributions from non-members are welcomed.
The journal welcomes submission to 5 sections as follows.
Clinical Teratology: Studies focusing on clinical human teratology
Experimental Teratology: Teratology studies using experimental approaches
Genetics: Teratology studies using genetic approaches
Normal Human Development: Teratology studies mainly focusing on human embryology
Regulatory Science and Epidemiology: Developmental and reproductive toxicology studies from the standpoints of regulatory science and/or epidemiology
