Travel grants for major international meetings
- The European and International Congresses of Immunology (ECI&ICI)
- Immunology-themed events held in Europe (on average more than 20 per year)
EJI Ita Askonas prize awarded by EFIS
- €20,000 awarded annually to female group leaders nominated by EFIS member societies

EJI Ita Askonas Prize awarded by EFIS
The prize was established by EFIS and the European Journal of Immunology (EJI) to acknowledge female group leaders in immunology who have run an independent laboratory for a minimum of four and no more than ten years.
