Aims and Scope
Ophthalmic & Physiological Optics (OPO), first published in 1925, is a leading international interdisciplinary journal that addresses basic and applied questions pertinent to contemporary research in vision science and optometry.
OPO publishes original research papers, reviews, short communications and letters to the Editor and will interest researchers, educators and clinicians concerned with the development, use and restoration of vision.

Meet Professor Mark Rosenfield, Editor-in-Chief of Ophthalmic & Physiological Optics
Professor Mark Rosenfield MCOptom, PhD, FAAO is the current Editor-in-Chief of the leading international vision science and optometry journal, Ophthalmic & Physiological Optics (OPO).
Professor Rosenfield is a Professor at the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry. He conducts research into binocular vision, digital eye strain, and the measurement and aetiology of refractive error. He is the author of three textbooks, 16 book chapters and over 110 peer reviewed publications. He has been a member of the OPO Editorial board for more than five years, and has served as a topical editor for Optometry & Vision Science.
