Colorectal Disease is a journal devoted to the clinical problems that are directly relevant to adult (>18 years) patients with intestinal (small bowel, colon, rectum & anus) diseases & the multidisciplinary (surgical, medical, nursing, pathology, radiology, oncology) clinical teams that care for them.Colorectal Disease publishes original research & reviews regarding the epidemiology & aetiology, diagnosis, classification, management, prognosis and long-term sequelae of lower gastrointestinal tract diseases. It also welcomes submissions relating to aspects of healthcare processes that directly impact patients with lower gastrointestinal diseases such as:

The journal also aims to appeal to those patients who have an interest in learning more about their own disease and / or who have participated in the research we have published.Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Colorectal Disease aims to foster inclusive research that reflects the disciplinary, human, and geographic diversity of scientists, clinicians and other health professionals working in this area.
