Free online access to this journal is available within institutions in the developing world through the AGORA Initiative with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

Weed Research participates in a Wiley-Blackwells scheme to allow authors that wish to allow open access to their papers to pay for the publication cost. Authors should NOT indicate at the point of submission whether they will wish to make use of this facility. If the paper is accepted, they will be given an opportunity to make their wishes known at that time.
