Early Career Researcher Best Paper Award for Fisheries Oceanography

We are pleased to announce an annual ‘Early Career Researcher Best Paper Award’ for papers published in Fisheries Oceanography. This award is intended to highlight the pioneering work being conducted by students and early career researchers across all fields of fisheries oceanography.

To be considered for this award, early career researchers, including students, will be able to note their career status during the initial paper submission process. Early career researchers are defined as scientists under the age of 35, or those who have completed their PhD within the past 5 years. The editors will select and announce a winner each April, of the following year.

Winners will receive a $200 USD gift card, along with a certificate of the award and promotion of their paper, which will be highlighted by Wiley online and on social media.
