Journal of Community and Applied Social Psychology call for Special Issue proposals
The Editor of the Journal of Community and Applied Social Psychology invites proposals for a Special Issue. Proposals should be submitted to the Editor at [email protected].
Special Issue proposals should include the following information:
- Name(s), contact details and a brief CV of the guest editor(s).
- Tentative title of the Special Issue.
- Brief description of the aims of the Special Issue, topics to be covered, and how it will fit with the aims of JCASP. This should include why a Special Issue on the topic is needed and its expected contribution to the state of the research (500 words max.).
- A draft call for papers (500 words max.).
- Indications of why the Special Issue should be of interest to authors, including an indication of authors who might submit their work (300 words max.).
Proposals will be evaluated by members of the JCASP editorial board.
Once commissioned, the Special Issue will have an open call for papers (which will be advertised in the JCASP, on the journal website, and through relevant mailing lists and social media); editors are also expected to encourage potential authors to submit a paper. All submissions will go through a peer review process. The guest editors are welcome to submit their own paper for consideration, to be handled independently by a member of the regular editorial team.
