Drug and Alcohol Review (DAR) is the Asia-Pacific's leading multidisciplinary journal addressing issues related to alcohol and drug-related problems.

As the official journal of the Australasian Professional Society on Alcohol and other Drugs (APSAD), Drug and Alcohol Review is an international meeting ground for the views, expertise and experience of all those involved in studying alcohol, tobacco and drug problems. The journal examines and reports on alcohol and drug use from clinical, epidemiological, psychological, and sociological perspectives.

Online publication from 2024

Drug and Alcohol Review will be published in online-only format effective with the 2024 volume. This is a proactive move towards reducing the environmental impact caused by the production and distribution of printed journal copies and will allow the journal to invest in further innovation, digital development, and sustainability measures. All color images will now be reproduced digitally and published free of charge. Printed copies may be obtained through a print-on-demand service.
