Convenor Welcome
We are honored to be co-convening the 2024 COSA ASM to be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from Wednesday 13 to Friday 15 November 2024.
Our theme this year is Bridging gaps, building progress, breaking down disparities.
The disease theme has a strong focus on cancers with poorer outcomes, including sessions on carcinoma of unknown primary and pancreatic cancers, just to name a few.
COSA first introduced an equity theme in 2022—a theme which resonated well with COSA members and delegates, so we were keen to incorporate it again as it aligns well with poorer outcome cancers.
It's been eight years since the COSA ASM was held on the Gold Coast, so we are excited to bring it back. We have a wealth of experience locally and across Australia more broadly. We are highlighting our domestic expertise throughout the program, as well as including a number of international experts.
