Abstract

Nanocrystalline high-pressure LiFePO4 having the CrVO4 type structure (space group Cmcm) is synthesized at ambient pressure from a solution of FeCl2, LiCl, diphenylether, and tri-n-octylphosphine oxide in MeOH (100 °C, 1 h) mixed with a solution containing H3PO4, tri-n-hexylamine, and dihexylether (N2, 150 °C, 1 h).
