Graphical Abstract

Schichtartiger schwarzer Phosphor …… zeichnet sich durch stark anisotrope elektronische, magnetische und elektrochemische Eigenschaften aus. In der Zuschrift auf S. 3443 ff. analysieren Z. Sofer, M. Pumera et al. diese Beobachtungen mittels Dichtefunktionalrechnungen und zeigen, dass schwarzer Phosphor ein topologischer Isolator ist. Im Hintergrund ist die schichtartige Struktur des Antelope Canyon, Arizona, zu sehen.
