From CO2 to Chemicals, Materials, and Fuels: The Role of Catalysis
Abstract
This article summarizes a number of applications of CO2 in the synthesis of molecular compounds, materials and fuels. The actual and perspective amount of used CO2 is given for 2016 and 2030. Barriers to a full exploitation are discussed and future areas of major interest are highlighted.
