Abstract

Statistical applications in ecology are numerous and encompass many of the classical and modern methods, as well as some novel methodology. Because of the breadth of the topic, this article focuses on several important methods that are outside the realm of standard statistical texts with application to environmental problems. Some of the methods that are used in statistical ecology are described, along with references to additional material.
