Abstract
Abstract: Lung transplantation is an option for some cystic fibrosis (CF) patients. CF is associated with a variety of non-pulmonary problems, which should be managed before and after tansplantation. This commentary discusses some of the nutritional issues affecting CF patients. Theses issues include: the need for nutritional supplements; gastrostomy tube placement; osteoporosis and disabetes.
