Abstract

In this article, a 34-GHz substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) quasi-elliptic filter fabricated in PCB is presented. The filter consists of one SIW cavity and four coupling metallic circular post. It is found that the filter can deliver a simulated bandwidth of 600 MHz, centered at 34 GHz with an insertion loss of 1 dB, with two transmission zeros at each side of the passband. The good agreement between the simulated and measured results is presented at the end of this article. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
