Summary

This chapter offers diverse images that provide an overview endoscopic management of colorectal lesions and aims to provide a synopsis through pictures and illustrations rather than through text. Endoscopic resection techniques have transformed the management of colorectal lesions, including diminutive (≤5 mm), small (6–9 mm), medium (10–19 mm), and large (≥20 mm) colorectal lesions. The chapter demonstrates the application of various resection techniques including cold-snare polypectomy, conventional polypectomy, endoscopic mucosal resection, and endoscopic submucosal dissection. It also demonstrates the management of periprocedural adverse events, including clinically significant intraprocedural bleeding and deep mural injury, and delayed bleeding. The chapter includes exceptional images, organized by disease entity and therapeutic modality, including histopathology slides, magnetic resonance image and computed tomographic scans, endoscopy, EUS, and open surgery images.
