Summary

Minimally invasive endoscopic resection techniques have revolutionized the management of premalignant and early lesions in the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum. This chapter offers diverse images that provide an overview of the endoscopic management of esophageal, gastric, and duodenal lesions and aims to provide a synopsis through pictures and illustrations. It demonstrates the application of various techniques including multiband mucosectomy for Barrett neoplasia; endoscopic submucosal dissection for Barrett neoplasia, squamous neoplasia, and early gastric cancer; submucosal tunneling endoscopic resection and endoscopic full-thickness resection for esophageal and gastric subepithelial lesions; endoscopic mucosal resection for duodenal laterally spreading lesions; and endoscopic papillectomy for ampullary lesions.
