Intent‐to‐Treat Principle - Goldberg - 2007 - Major Reference Works - Wiley Online Library

This article provides an overview of the concepts involved in intent-to-treat analyses of randomized controlled clinical trials. Implications for the interpretation of the results of randomized trials that arise when noncompliance, missing data, and losses to follow-up occur are described. Alternative approaches to analysis are described.
